I had a feeling these folks were part of a debt collection agency, claiming they could assist me in some way. Since I’m free of any debts, it’s likely just a dodgy scam.

I received a call from a chap who sounded Indian, claiming to represent some sort of credit agency. He was going on about how I have unsecured loans and offering assistance. To be honest, I wasn’t buying it at all-it felt a bit dodgy. By the time he got into his spiel, I’d already put the phone down, so I couldn’t catch the rest of his sales pitch. The thing is, I don’t have any loans at the moment, so I really couldn’t see what he was on about!

Just had a very irritating phone call from this number about an hour back. I was actually at my workplace when I took the call, and it didn’t sit well with my boss at all. Initially, I thought it might be of some significance, but alas, it turned out to be a scammer pretending to be from Citizens Support. What a palaver!
