I got a call from a woman who claimed she knew I’d had a car crash that wasn’t my fault. She didn’t have a clue what my name was or who gave her that info. Cheers for this info, really useful. I got a call from +441135221774 on my phone recently. I usually pick up when I don’t know the number but keep my mouth shut completely. If it’s someone legit, they usually say your name straight away. If no one says anything and it’s just silence, I just hang up, cause mostly the call just drops. That’s my sign it’s a scam. After that, I always look up the number, block it, report it and then delete it from my list.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from Leeds, trying the usual scam. They said I’d had a car accident, which I have no clue about. Supposedly they wanted to help me file a claim. When I called him out as a scammer, he started getting rude real quick, so I just ended the call. Why don’t the police crack down on these lot? It’s ridiculous!

So, I got a phone call from 0113 5221774 and the lady said something like, "I understand that you’ve been in an accident through no fault of your own, is that correct?" It sounded really robotic to me. I ended the call straight away because who begins a conversation like that out of the blue? Felt fishy for sure!
