Got a call from someone saying I was in a car accident, apparently not my fault. Thing is, I don’t even drive! So, I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call about some car crash, but that’s not something that happened.

I was tied up at first so I didn't answer, then when I tried ringing back it said the claims manager number was busy. After that, the call just dropped on me not once but twice. Number was +44 113 522 1679.

I gave it a ring back since nobody left any feedback, but the call just dropped straight away, no answer or anything... From what I know, this kinda thing smells like a scam, maybe some robo calls coming from loads of different numbers, hoping somebody in the area picks up 'cause it looks local. I'm based in Sheffield myself, so it seemed sorta familiar. Anyway, I've gone ahead and blocked it now 🚫 👎

I picked up right away but there was dead silence on the other end!
Eventually, the call just ended.
... not a single voicemail left either.
After reading what others have said about this number, it’s going on my blocked list for sure 🚫

Got a call from a number that seemed dodgy, sounded like one of those typical scams - they kept saying the same stuff you hear in loads of other scam calls. Definitely off and unwanted.

I noticed they also call from 1675, so I’m pretty convinced it’s the same dodgy outfit. Both numbers are blocked now.
