I got a call from this number on my mobile, and a lady said I'd been involved in a car accident recently. That was a shock since I hadn’t had any accidents at all. I told her that’s not true, she sounded a bit taken aback and then ended the call. I’m definitely blocking that number now.

Got a ring from some stranger claiming I'd just been in a crash. Told them nope and hung up sharpish. It’s been ages since I last heard that one - think the scammers are really scraping the barrel now!

No sound at all when I answered, figured it was a scam call. Ended up just hanging up and blocking that number straight away.
