Someone rang me about a car crash but I’ve never been involved in one. Very confusing!

I didn’t pick up when it rang, but they left a message with this really fake sounding voice saying something like, “Hello, I heard you were in an accident that wasn’t your fault.” And then it just cut off straight away. Sounds like a total scam to me - probably trying to get you to call back and then either charge you or nick your details. Wouldn’t trust it at all.

Got a call from some woman with a thick southern drawl claiming I’d been in a car crash. I asked her where she got that info and for her name since I was planning to take legal action and maybe use her as a witness for breaching data protection. She just hung up straight away.
