I received a rather dodgy call from someone inquiring whether I’d been in a recent car accident that I had absolutely nothing to do with. What a cheeky scammer, clearly trying to fish for my personal details.

This number 0113 522 1250 popped up on my phone but I didn’t answer. After checking online, found out it’s linked to some accident scam run out of Leeds, coming through TELNYX UK LIMITED. Been getting calls like this for a few days now. Best thing is just ignore or hang up straight away. I’m blocking it, reporting it as a scam and deleting it from my phone.

A polite woman called me asking if I’d recently been in a no blame car crash. I thought it sounded like a scam so I just ended the call.

They called to ask if I’d been in a car crash that wasn’t my fault, which isn’t true at all. I never had any accident. Pretty clear it was a scam trying to get my personal info.
