2 yearsClaimed to be part of a service handling housing issues, but it turned out to be a bothersome call. Best to just brush it off and not engage with them.2 yearsI received a call earlier today from someone claiming to be with the housing maintenance department. Seems a bit dodgy, so I'd steer clear of them!4 yearsOver the past couple of weeks, I've gotten about six calls from some housing repair place. When they rang me last time, they said they'd remove me from their calling list. Well, obviously not. I've blocked the number now, enough is enough.5 yearsGot a call from an Indian guy claiming he was with social housing. He asked if I stayed at a certain address, and when I told him no, he just hung up on me.5 yearsFraudulent activity, it seems!5 yearsThis outfit is nothing but a bunch of fraudsters posing as a service for housing repairs. They can’t be trusted; they’re definitely up to no good!5 yearsI just received a rather suspicious call from someone who had my full name and postcode, claiming to be part of the housing disrepair team. When I pressed him for more details, he insisted they were “THE” team responsible for my property’s damp, mould, and various other repairs. When I queried why I hadn’t encountered them before, he rather dismissively remarked that it was because I hadn’t previously needed any repairs. As soon as I mentioned that all repair concerns should be routed through my estate agent, the call suddenly ended. He had an Asian accent, came across as quite charming and self-assured, albeit with a hint of impatience and a tendency to rush his words, making it hard to follow. Just thought I’d share this to raise some awareness.Submit Your Own Report (0113 522 0135)
