Claimed to be part of a service handling housing issues, but it turned out to be a bothersome call. Best to just brush it off and not engage with them.

I received a call earlier today from someone claiming to be with the housing maintenance department. Seems a bit dodgy, so I'd steer clear of them!

Over the past couple of weeks, I've gotten about six calls from some housing repair place. When they rang me last time, they said they'd remove me from their calling list. Well, obviously not. I've blocked the number now, enough is enough.

Got a call from an Indian guy claiming he was with social housing. He asked if I stayed at a certain address, and when I told him no, he just hung up on me.

Got a call from some lot claiming to be a housing disrepair service, but it’s obviously a scam. Total con artists, don’t trust them at all.

I got a call from someone claiming to be the housing disrepair department, using my full name and postcode. When I asked for more details, the guy just said he was "THE" team responsible for my property’s mould, damp, and other fixes. I asked why I’d never heard of them before, and he said it was because I hadn’t needed any repairs previously. I told him that all repairs have to go through my estate agent, as per the usual process, and the call ended abruptly. The man had an Asian accent, sounded quite friendly and confident but was a bit pushy and rushed, almost like he wanted to hurriedly confuse me. Just thought I’d warn others to watch out for this kind of call.
