Got a call a moment ago, asked who was on the other end and they just hung up right away.

Some bloke ringed me up sayin' it was for a survey or somethin'. I told him i wasn't interested and just ended the call. Dunno if it's some kinda scam though, coz they did know my name.

I got a call from this number here in Norway but didn't pick up, and they didn’t bother leaving any voicemail either.

They claim it’s a survey, but honestly it’s the most rubbish survey I’ve come across (and I’m in the same field)! The bloke was so hard to understand, and it’s obvious they’re just gathering info to send ‘discount vouchers and cards’. Not sure if it’s a scam or what, but I’ve blocked the number and said I’ll report them to the proper authorities.

Got a call from +44 113 521 0077, a friendly-sounding guy with an Indian/English accent. He said he was doing a lifestyle survey linked to postcodes and claimed to be from a research group based in Leeds. Apparently, they’ve already covered 56% of the local population. When I asked where he got my number from, he mentioned social media and some directory. Tried to dodge my questions a bit but kept pushing the survey. Told him I wasn’t interested, and he was quite polite about ending the call. Out of curiosity, I rang the number back, but no one ever picked up. Bit strange!

Got a call from some bloke abroad claiming to be from a leasing company and using my name. I told him he’d got the wrong number and he just ended the call.

Sounds like a scam to me, since the number is almost the same as another scam call I got before, just the last digit is different. It’s probably one of those fake Amazon things.

Someone named "Mr Cooper," sounding like he might be from India or Pakistan, rang me claiming to be from PR Vista doing some kind of "special targeted survey." But the call was weirdly patchy - right after the intro, the line went dead with me saying, "Sorry, I can't hear you properly..." I didn’t bother calling back, and I doubt they tried either. Now, PR Vista is apparently a marketing company out of Hong Kong, and I couldn’t see anything about them having UK offices anywhere. Something about the whole thing felt dodgy to me.
