I’m always careful about calls from unknown numbers, especially ones from places I’ve never heard of. Pretty sure it was a scam, so I didn’t pick up and just ended the call. Later on, I looked it up and found out it was related to some sort of bank fraud. Watching that one TV show really helped me spot these kinds of dodgy calls.

I didn't keep the call going to see what the caller wanted, but it was an Indian lady who said "how are you doing sir" instead of confirming if she was speaking to me by name. That kinda makes me think this is likely a scam from some call centre.

People from Asia pretending to be from your bank, dont trust a word these dodgy lot say. There’s no proper company behind it, no matter what name they drop. If you just dont pick up, they cant rob you blind. They hide who they really are for a reason. If the number begins with +44, it’s likely a fake generated by a computer. Also, make sure to report it to Action Fraud and send the forwarding text to 772.

It’s just a normal number so I usually don’t pick up, nothing I can do really. Might try answering next time tho, curious what kind of scam it is.
