I got a call saying I was owed £3000 from an old accident. I quickly said I wasn’t interested, but they kept going on saying someone else had already claimed that money. It was such a pain trying to end the call, felt like they just wouldn’t take no for an answer. Definitely a scam if you ask me.

Got a call from someone who seemed to know everything about me and my accident, trying to sort out insurance claims for me. They said they’d got my info from a third party but wouldn’t say who or give me their website. When I asked if it was a scam, the person got really hostile. I’ve had a similar call from this same number before with the same details.

A bloke and a woman got in touch with me, mentioning my full name and some past accident. Loads of background noise too, seemed like one of those dodgy insurance scams. Thankfully I looked up the number first before sharing any details. Glad I didn’t fall for it.

I’ve had calls from a bunch of different numbers, this being the eighth one, all from some 'aftercare' squad. They get really pushy and started claiming I might get money for some injury. Kinda feels like they’re trying to make stuff up to get me to respond.

I kept getting calls, even though my insurance claim was sorted ages ago. Then, out the blue last year, they ring to tell me I might be able to get £1000 to £3500 more. Why on earth would I fake being hurt when I already said in my claim I wasn’t injured at all? They just try to get you to admit stuff to build a case and then take a quarter of whatever you get. Such a con.

Watch out for a car accident insurance scam. They keep changing their phone numbers, sometimes using different area codes or even mobile numbers. It’s definitely the same scam, just different contacts to try and trick you. Stay alert!

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, but there was no voicemail left. Figured it was probably some sort of telemarketer or a dodgy sales pitch, so I just blocked it straight away.

There was a big delay before they picked up, and a lot of noise going on behind them. They actually called me by my name which was weird. But as soon as I asked who they were, they just ended the call. I've blocked the number since.
