I received a call from someone who, rather curiously, rattled off my name and address - albeit incorrectly - though they had the right town. They inquired whether I owned my home and mentioned some sort of financial assistance that was supposedly available. I made it clear I wasn't keen on what they were peddling, but had to cut the conversation short as they were rather insistent.
