Got a call from 02 about my business deal, but wasn’t sure who it really was, so I ended up just hanging up.

Got a call from some bloke about my 02 contract, but he didn’t even know my name - total cold call. I just told him to get lost and ended the call straight away.

got a call from some bloke saying he was Vodafone trying to switch my phone to a business contract. when i asked if my spotify would move over, he said nope, cant do that. after that the call just ended. seemed a bit sketchy to me!

some bloke called claiming he was from vodafone, offering to switch my plan to a business deal. i asked if that was because i’m vat registered. he then tried to quiz me, but i cut him off and said i’d check the number to make sure it was legit. he instantly hung up. after reading the comments here, i’m really relieved i trusted my gut. i recently renewed my contract with vodafone, so i could have easily been caught out another time. watch out for this kind of scam!

It rang for a mere second before cutting off. I returned the call as I was anticipating something significant. To my surprise, it was just a call centre trying to sell me a more favourable mobile plan, which made me chuckle!

Got a call about my contract with 02. Told them I’m not actually with 02 and then they started naming loads of other providers like Sky, TalkTalk, Virgin, none of which I’m with either. Then they asked if I’d be willing to say who my provider is, but I said no way. It all sounded a bit dodgy, like a scam, so I just ended the call.

Received a call with absolute silence on the other end-definitely a scam. Whatever you do, don’t bother returning the call!
