When I tried to explain my situation, they wouldn’t let me get a word in and just talked over me nonstop, so I ended up hanging up.

Got a call from someone claiming to be the Contract Support Centre. I looked them up and found the company is registered but definitely not authorised like they claimed. Apparently, they’re known for being persistent cold callers and have loads of complaints against them. Total timeshare scam from what I can tell.
