The person on the other end claimed it was regarding some hearing claim from ages past, insisting that a courier would pop by the next day with some documents for me to sign. Apparently, there’s no need for any new tests. Quite odd, really!

Total waste of time, probably a scam. I just stopped picking up and have blocked the number now.

I got a call from someone claiming to be doing a survey about workplace accidents. They already knew my first name, which weirded me out a bit. When I asked where they got my info from, they said it was from some database. I told them to take my details off their list, and they said they would, but then they just cut me off suddenly. Sure enough, they called me again the very next day, so I guess they didn’t bother deleting my info after all.

The individual on the other end was quite courteous, requesting my input for a consumer lifestyle survey, but I chose to pass on it. After I graciously turned them down, I found it necessary to block the number, as this chap kept pestering me with calls despite my refusal.

So, this bloke rings up about some consumer and lifestyle survey. I told him right away that I charge £25 a minute to answer any questions. He goes, "How am I meant to pay you?" I told him to just send a cheque. Then he says, "How do I do that?" I told him I wouldn’t say another word until the payment was sorted. He promised it’d be quick, only about 2 minutes. I replied, "Fine, that’ll be £50 then." Then I added that I’d already done three surveys that day and he should try calling some other companies for his info.
