I've been bombarded by yet another number that seems to insist on ringing my phone around the clock this month. It all kicked off when I signed up on a few online trading and investment platforms. Clearly, I need to be more vigilant with my personal details going forward!

Somebody rang saying they were from Pru Protect about life insurance. When I asked for a number to ring back, the bloke called “Connor” said he couldn’t give me one since he’d only started the job last week. But then I told him my phone showed the number as “Suspected Spam” and the line just went dead. Definitely seems dodgy, can’t be legit Pru Protect.
