They rang me a few times but have given up now after the last one!! I think I played along for a bit, then told them to ring back later as I was on duty, saying I’m with Dorset Police. As soon as I mentioned that, the #### hung up. Found it quite funny, so I use that excuse for most unknown calls now. Usually, the conversation lasts just a couple of minutes, and then I never hear from that number again.

01227620699 switched tactics today while calling from Beneficial, after I've had enough of their calls for ages now. My phone’s maxed out on blocking numbers ‘cause they keep changing them. So I told the woman on the line that about 50 of us fed-up residents chipped in £50 each and hired a hitman from the Philippines to take out their CEO, Shanyne. Honestly, if I was you, I’d start thinking about finding another job cos your boss won’t be around much longer. Let's hope this warning sinks in.

Beneficial is a sister firm to GBS based in the Philippines. Their CEO goes by Andrew B, or Andrew Roy Brooke, the bloke who previously owned One Tick, Teleoutsourcing, and several other data gathering companies in the UK. He’s currently banned from being a director because he allegedly took clients’ cash and flew out of the country. You can find all this info online, on LinkedIn, Companies House and so on. I believe Beneficial Opinions in the UK was managed by his son but that company is now dissolved.

I've been receiving quite a few calls from an 0121 number. I don't pick up, but when I return the call on withheld, someone says it's Beneficial, so I guess it's the same firm using different numbers since some businesses have loads of them.

I've looked into this a bit. Beneficial is actually a survey firm registered here in the UK as GBS BUSINESS SOLUTIONS LTD. The CEO is a guy from the Philippines called Mr Shaynne Erasmo. You can reach him at [email protected][###] I dropped him an email explaining that I’ve told their cold callers multiple times to remove my details, but they kept ringing anyway. I mentioned I'd be charging them £10 a minute for any more calls and would send a monthly invoice. He replied apologising and assured me my number’s now on their block list. Since then, no more calls from them!

Beneficial kept ringing me non stop, ive blocked like 30 different numbers from them but they just dont stop. The callers speak in such bad accents it’s impossible to understand a word. I wish they would just stop and remove me from their list.

Beneficial rings me up loads of times each day. Just like another person mentioned, they're now using a number from my local area, so I gotta pick up in case it’s someone I actually know. I block every single number but it doesn’t seem to help at all. I’ve tried all sorts of ways to get through to them, but they just keep on calling. Is there ANYTHING at all we can do about this? Useless (definitely not helpful)! Absolute pain, they've rang me hundreds of times from loads of different phone numbers. Honestly, just ignore them and let them waste their own time. No matter what I do, they just keep going. Now they've started calling from 0121 (my local area code) numbers, so I have to answer in case it’s someone I actually know.

Helpful experience, I guess. Got a call from an Indian lady whose accent was really hard to catch. So I tried doing a cheeky Indian accent back. Told her, "Hello aunty, I’m still on the meds for the rash down under, and my Mum’s just had a massive poo to clear her blockage." Then she asked me my name. I said, "It’s me, aunty, surely you know my voice by now? And don’t worry, I won’t let uncle in on our steamy bathroom chat." She ended the call after that :(

Beneficial phoned me again. Unless the government puts a stop to those firms getting hold of UK numbers, this’ll just keep going on. My tactic now is to keep them chatting for as long as I can. So far, my longest was 1 minute 35 seconds. Can anyone beat that? Share your best times here!!

Theres just no stopping these callers. I figured might aswell mess around a bit. They always kick off with "How's your day going?" so I say "I just found out I have terminal cancer and only got a month left". They get all confused cause they dont have a reply for that, and usually just hang up. Ive also told em my daughters been taken, my dads died in some acid thing, and Ive been nicked for messing with kittens and might end up in jail.

01792735497 has been ringing me non-stop today and honestly, they’ve been at it every day for weeks now. I’ve blocked the number and told them to stop but no luck. The moment I said I wanted my info deleted, they just ended the call! I’ve tried looking up the company but found nothing. Next time they call, I’m gonna pretend to be interested and ask for their address. They’ll get a letter telling them to delete my details and cease contacting me or I’ll take legal action. This is seriously getting ridiculous.

This number 01792735497 has been ringing me nonstop all week now, almost every single day. Ive blocked it and told them to quit calling but they just keep going. When I told em to delete my info, they just hung up right away! Ive tried looking for info on this company but cant find nothing. Next time they call, I reckon I’ll pretend to be interested and ask for an actual address. I’m gonna send them a proper warning to take my details off their list and stop the bother, or else I’m thinking about reporting them. This is well out of order by now.

Beneficial keeps ringing loads of different numbers. I asked them to stop and take me off their list, but they said they don’t care even if I report them and they'll just keep phoning me daily endlessly. The woman I spoke to was the most unpleasant person ever. From what I can tell, there's no legit company behind Beneficial - total scam!

Helpful? For who exactly? They keep calling loads of different numbers, and I can’t find any info about the company online. Gets about 2 or 3 calls every day. I’ve blocked numbers showing up from Lee’s, somewhere in Wales, plus lots of mobiles. Proper pain in the you-know-what this is.

Got two calls today from Welsh numbers, one was 01570448049 and the other 01352836583. They seem to ring different phones every day. I think I’ll start using a whistle too, it’s driving me mad!

I get calls from Beneficial loads of times every day, usually from different numbers. I've told them a few times that they've got the wrong person, but they just ask for my name and say they want to assist me. They call all day, anywhere between 9 in the morning and 8 at night. I've blocked so many numbers now, but they keep coming!

I get phonecalls pretty much 5 times every day from these lot, always claiming their service is helpful. I've told them loads of times to take my number off their list, but nothing changes. Every time I hang up and block one number, another one pops up ringing me. Seriously, I've ended up blocking hundreds of different numbers now!!!

They keep phoning me like 3 or 4 times every day. I block each number but they just call from new ones. Got another call today, told the guy politely to take me off the list, said it twice! Still, he tried to get me to answer 3 questions, then I lost it and shouted, and he hung up!

I heard from an O2 rep that if you put your number on the site [#]tpsonline[###][###], after 28 days no one’s allowed to ring you with any sort of sales or offers unless you’ve actually said it’s ok. Sounds like a good way to stop the nuisance calls. Might be worth giving it a go!

I’m proper fed up with this number ringing me non stop. I’ve told them to stop and even warned about reporting them for harassment, but it makes no difference. I’m thinking of keeping a whistle by the phone and blasting it the moment they mention Beneficial. Honestly, this is borderline harassment and they should be taken to court for it!

They've rung me loads of times and after blocking their number, they just phoned from another one. Like many others, I've now stopped picking up any calls from numbers I don't recognise.

They call me constantly, even as late as 10pm every night, always going on about how great their offer is. I’ve tried being nice, told them to stop, and even snapped at them, but nothing works. Now they just keep talking right over me. Next time they ring, I might just tell them I live in Buckingham Palace with seven kids and around 20 corgis!

I’ve had loads of annoying calls from some really pushy people saying they’re from India. Even though I’ve blocked nearly 3,000 numbers, they just keep ringing non-stop and won’t take my number off their list. It’s so frustrating!

I've told them to stop more than once but they keep ringing daily. The last time I answered and said I wasn't interested, now they just ring and it's dead silent. I've blocked their number, but then they just use a different one. I’m not sure how to file a complaint but it’s really starting to feel like harassment for no good reason. Got a call earlier from a woman with an Indian accent, loud noise all around her, and she acted like she knew me! She said her company was Beneficial and wanted me to answer some questions about my home. I told her no a few times, then got a bit annoyed and told her to take me off their list. She said they’d only do that if I answered the questions. I ended the call and have blocked the number now. Proper fed up with these annoying calls!
