I don’t get how Leeds got classed as being “local” to Oxfordshire, but this guy rang me claiming to be some official approved insulation assessor wanting to check my loft insulation. Got a really weird call today from someone who sounded like a genuine bloke talking about an energy survey in my neighbourhood, government funding, and a free insulation assessment. Towards the end, I worked out it was actually a bunch of pre-recorded messages by an actor, probably pieced together by someone or some AI pretending to be a real person. Every time I tried asking something in return, it just repeated the last statement again. They wanted to know the age of the householder from a few options and if the loft had been done up. Proper strange.

Somebody rang me about solar panels, saying their company was 'Imagen Solo' or something like that. I told them I'm on the Telephone Preference Service list, so they really weren't supposed to be ringing me. Quite annoying really!

I got a call from a bloke named Chris on my home phone claiming he was an energy advisor for the area. First thing he asked was if I owned the place, which sounded dodgy to me. I told him I wasn’t interested, hung up straight away and blocked his number. Later, I checked online and found loads of others had reported the same number. Pretty surprised some folks still don’t bother blocking these calls. If you keep getting rubbish like this, have a word with your phone company - most of them offer free call blocking services.

This number was totally unfamiliar to me, so I quickly jumped on this website to check it out. After reading mostly bad reviews, I chose to just block it and not answer.

Someone called me earlier saying they were an energy consultant named Chris, but I told them this was a work number and we're registered with the Business Telephone Preference Service. Pretty obvious it was a scam, so I just blocked and ignored it.

At around 9 o’clock this morning, I got a call from 01134904272. When I answered, I was all set to record what they had to say, but the line was just silent at first. After a bit, it sounded like it was linking me through somewhere, and then a robotic male voice came on saying, "Goodbye! Better luck next time!" Quite odd, really.

A bloke named Chris rang me claiming to be from my local energy company. He wanted to know if I owned the house. I didn’t reply to that but quickly asked where he was calling from. Next thing, he just hung up. I’ve now blocked the number through my call diversion settings. Feels like it might’ve been one of those phishing attempts.
