Got a call from a number saying it was Synergy Heating and Renewables in Leeds. When I picked up, some bloke with an Indian accent told me they could help with benefits, but I don’t qualify for that or want any help like that. Bit of a waste of time really.

So I got a ring from 0113 490 0966 and decided to ring back cos I was a bit iffy about it. When I called, there was no dial tone, then suddenly it just dropped the call on me. I’m in Northern Ireland, no links to Leeds at all, so this smelt like a definite scam. Wouldn’t bother with it if I were you!

So I answered with a quick hello, she already knew my first name but I just ignored it and kept asking what the call was about. After a bit, she told me her name was Sophie and mentioned something about attendance allowance. I just said goodbye and hung up straight away.
