I got through to someone who claimed TalkTalk manages all broadband services and warned me there’d been a security issue with my connection. They told me to open my laptop and enter a command into the ‘Tun’ box. Suddenly, a window popped up showing loads of errors - she said there were over 22,000! She seemed quite amused and insisted it was urgent to fix it straight away. I tried to ask some questions, but she kept pressing me to act quickly. Something didn’t feel right, so I decided to hold off and verify with TalkTalk’s official support before doing anything else. Cheers!

Got several calls today saying my internet would be disconnected if I didn’t press 1. Totally fishy if you ask me.

I just got a call where there was no one speaking on the other end, completely silent. Pretty annoying!

got a call where no one said anything, and then they rang me back like a minute later, same thing, just dead quiet. from what i've noticed, if you pick up and just keep quiet, they hang up because they call loads of people at once and only chat with whoever actually talks. so yeah, my advice is don't say a word, stay quiet, then block the number afterwards.
