There was this bloke with a thick accent speaking nonsense, only thing I picked up was something about a housing unit or whatever. Told him I couldn’t get a word he said and just ended the call.

He actually called out my name. I asked him how he had my number and he claimed it was from a "legal database." I warned him I'd report it and told him if he rings me again, there would be trouble. He ended the call straight away. I’m absolutely fed up with all this!

This lady with a white accent that sounded foreign, maybe Indian, rang me up asking for me by name. She said she was ringing about my Mercedes and that it might have a device fitted between 2008 and 2016. She didn’t really explain properly, just said something about a recall? And told me a story about some scandal at Mercedes and asked if I’d heard about it? I hadn’t, cos it just sounded like a load of rubbish! I ended the call straight away. It came through on my landline.

I flagged this number back on 16.06.2022 after it rang my disposable phone. Then, just today at 1:25pm, it rang again and went straight to voicemail, but no message was left. Pretty clear it’s a dodgy scam call, best not to answer.

Got a call from this number on my prepaid phone, which I always use just for online stuff, keep it away from my regular phone. Calls go straight to answerphone, and like usual, no message left. Pretty sure it’s a scam call. Honestly, having a separate Pay as You Go phone is way safer for online dealings cos you don’t keep your personal info on it. Loads of cyber security pros actually suggest using a second burner phone for online stuff and even getting verification codes through it.

Got a call from some call centre with a South African accent, saying they were ringing about a government thing that helps you clear 70% of your debts. When I told them I ain’t got any debt, they just hung up on me.

Honestly, it was obvious it was a scam. The caller spoke with an Indian accent and was quite unpleasant. She kept targeting white blokes, which felt pretty racist and sexist to me, honestly she should be locked up. It was some sort of fake debt collector, and she had zero clue about who I actually am. I even tried reaching out to the Indian High Commission but they just wouldn't get back to me.

I got a call from someone saying they were with the local housing claims department and wanted to know if I live at a certain address. When I told them I don’t share info with unsolicited calls, the woman got pretty annoyed. She insisted she wasn’t a cold caller and mentioned the organisation she worked for.
