They rung me up three times over two days and never left a message. I just let it keep ringing every time.

They keep ringing me multiple times daily for weeks straight. Whenever I’m in, I pick up and say I need to open the door and ask them to wait a minute. Then I put the phone on speaker and mute myself to listen to what they’re doing. Obviously, while I’m doing this, they can't ring anyone else. One of their calls lasted almost 2 mins before they finally gave up. If more people did this, I bet these annoying calls would stop pretty quickly.

The last call was worrying because they somehow got her to let them on her computer to “demonstrate her trading results.” Their site ended with a .io domain - obviously some dodgy unregulated offshore lot! Whenever they phone, I start spouting nonsense from "Red Dwarf" or "The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy" and they hang up sharpish these days.

I keep getting incessant calls for my missus, with these cheeky blighters trying to convince her they can retrieve the £7,000 she got duped out of last year. The last time they rang, they had managed to worm their way into getting her to allow them to access her computer under the guise of demonstrating her “trading performance.” Their website had one of those dodgy ".io" domains - proper shady offshore characters, I tell you! Now, when they bother us, I just start spouting random lines from "Red Dwarf" or "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." They tend to hang up darn quickly after that!

I got a call from some firm named Redfin Stocks, which apparently operates out of Hong Kong, so be careful with any China connections. The caller had a Leeds number, but there was a lot of background noise so who knows where he actually was - nowadays, local numbers can be forwarded just about anywhere. Their website pushes investing in high-risk stocks, but with them being based in Hong Kong, it's definitely a dodgy move right now and likely to get worse. If he rings me again tomorrow, I'll just tell him nicely to stop calling.

Totally agree with what’s been said here - they get really pushy if you start asking questions like how or why. I told them I work for a regulator and the call just stopped there. These are dodgy calls trying to trick you into giving away your bank info. Don’t fall for it, just hang up straight away! If you can block the number, that’s best.

Absolutely, I've been bombarded by these dodgy callers. I've repeated myself countless times, making it crystal clear that I'm not at all interested. It's beyond me how they've managed to snag my name and number. Honestly, the sheer audacity to expect me to fork over my hard-earned cash just because they dialled my number is utterly ridiculous! I've taken the step to block them, but lo and behold, they simply switch to another number to hound me! It’s infuriating how these despicable individuals seem to have nothing better to do than squander both their own time and mine. Such a shame they can't channel that energy into something worthwhile instead of preying on unsuspecting folk. What a pathetic existence for those con artists.

Got a call from a lady who asked if I was into bitcoin trading. I told her no and asked her not to ring me again. I hung up straight away and then blocked the number.

Got a call from this number a couple of days back but when I picked up, no one was on the line. Today I saw it ring three times more but I just let it go to voicemail. The code suggests it’s from Leeds, but I’m pretty sure it’s actually from abroad. I’ve blocked the number now. Watch out for this one!

Absolutely dreadful experience I must say! The manner in which they attempt to lure you into online trading is downright offensive. If you dare to express disinterest, you're met with condescending remarks, which is quite frankly unacceptable. Their approach to sales is a complete shambles, despite their insistence that they’re not pushing anything on you. I've been bombarded with calls about three times each day for the last month. It’s incessant! The wisest course of action? Do yourself a favour and don’t answer their calls. Block them immediately and if fortune smiles upon you, they might just take the hint and leave you in peace.
