What really freaks me out is how they managed to get my details - not just my phone number but also my name and even my address. If it’s a scam, that’s pretty scary. I’ve been trying to reach Camelot to check if it’s legit, but it’s proving impossible to get through to anyone.

So, it’s one of those lotto schemes in the UK. They send you syndicate tickets for free, but when you win, they ask for your bank info to pay the prize. They also try to get you to join a syndicate promising big winnings, but again, want bank details upfront. I wasn’t sure about them, as I hadn’t heard much before, so I just let it go after getting the free tickets.

Got a call from 01134871859 claiming to be from Lotto UK. They said they'd send me 10 free lottery entries for 10th June 2020. They seemed to already have my phone number, email, and address which worried me a bit. They said the tickets would come through the post but so far, I haven’t received anything. Not sure if they can actually use my info for anything dodgy. No free tickets arrived in the end.
