2 yearsI got a call this afternoon, Friday 9th August, about 1pm. As soon as my answering machine kicked in asking for a name, I hung up straight away. The number started with 0113, which is supposed to be Leeds, so they must reckon I’d answer since it looks local, but actually it’s not genuine. Most Leeds phone numbers usually begin with 0113 2... so this felt a bit dodgy.Leeds2 yearsThe same individual, claiming to be a “local energy advisor” and with a very familiar voice, has rung me up 5 times within the last month. I reckon it’s a scam related to loft insulation - probably trying to get you to take spray foam insulation, which I heard can make selling your house impossible unless you get it taken out. Honestly, the people behind this must be thick as they keep pestering me even though I’m giving them the cold shoulder, especially these days! Total SCAM.2 yearsThe other day, someone called but didn't say a word and just ended the call pretty quickly. Feels like they're hoping we'll ring back, maybe to rip us off or something dodgy with money.
