Got a phone call from someone claiming to offer a home energy check - turned out to be one of those dodgy firms not following the TPS rules. When they asked if I owned the house, I just said no, and immediately they ended the call. Honestly, the easiest way to deal with these annoying calls is just to say you’re not the homeowner or the bill payer, they usually drop it then.

Got a recorded call pretending to be a regular chat about saving on energy bills and loft insulation. Total rip off. They asked if I owned the house, I told them I didn’t, and the robot said “No problem, I’ll ring you back.” I told it “please don’t,” but it just repeated “No problem, I’ll ring you back.” Really dodgy call. Best to block straight away and don’t pick up if it rings.
