Saw an unfamiliar number calling, so I just ignored it. They didn’t bother leaving a voicemail either.

I got a call from a bloke claiming he was from Curry’s or PC World. The number started with 0113 and then 45926xx, which is actually a VoIP number. Basically, it’s an internet-based number that looks like it’s from the UK, but the caller could be anywhere in the world, probably using a VPN to hide their real location. Don’t be fooled by this - it’s a scam. If you get a random cold call out of the blue, best to be super cautious.
