Got a call from a bloke claiming to be with D&G about insurance for my washing machine. When I asked for his name, he said Jones, or something like that. Then, the moment I asked where he was calling from, he just ended the call straight away! Best to avoid this number altogether.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Domestic & General about a washing machine warranty that was about to run out. I told them I don’t own a washing machine because I avoid using electricity to help save the planet, so I just wash my clothes by hand. Told him I don’t need any warranty for my hands and the old sink! He wasn’t very happy and seemed like I was winding him up.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Domestic & General about my washing machine warranty. They said it had run out and asked if I wanted to renew it. I simply told them I wasn’t interested and the call ended right there. I’ve blocked this number now, but I wouldn’t be shocked if they try again using another number.

This woman called me saying she was from Domestic and General, telling me my warranty was up. I pretended I didn’t really get it and asked if she meant it had actually expired, which sounded a bit worrying. Then I asked when exactly it ended, and she just cut the call. Weird thing is, I’ve never even signed up for a warranty on any of my stuff.

Somebody rang saying they were from Domestic and General, telling me my washing machine wasn’t covered anymore and I had to renew my warranty right away. While they were trying to sell me an annual plan and pushing for a quick decision, I opened the DG app and checked my current policy. When I questioned why they believed my coverage had expired since it’s actually valid until next year, they just ended the call! I wouldn’t rely on anything this number tells you.
