Said they were from verso group, "Just need to ask you five questions." They already had my name, number, and old address from some "public database" or something. Not sure where they pulled it from. Asked me if I read the morning paper and if I have sky. I told him I wasn’t buying it and he hung up on me. Also got a call 2 days ago from +1768866555 - that one didn’t go well either! Both times they got super annoyed and angry.

They've been ringin me every single day this past week - finally picked up today and got an Indian lady on the line, couldn't catch her name or what company she was from. She asked if I was still at "my old address," I told her no, I moved years ago! Then she tried to "politely ask for my current postcode," but I told her I wasn’t sharing that info. She just hung up on me after that. Now blocked.

I receive constant calls from this particular number on my mobile phone. Finally, I decided to answer one of the calls and it turned out to be a man who wanted to ask me 'just 4 questions'. He began by asking if I read a daily newspaper. The more questions I answered, the more questions he seemed to have for me. However, he completely ignored my attempts to find out what exactly he wanted or what he was selling. In order to get my point across, I had to raise my voice and interrupt him multiple times. Eventually, he directed me to a website to read their terms and conditions, but due to his strong Indian accent, I couldn't quite make out the exact web address he mentioned. It sounds like he was gathering data, possibly with the intention of selling my information for marketing purposes. I would highly advise not answering any calls from this number and blocking it if possible.

Got another call from 0908, this time some bloke with an Indian accent calling himself "Dennis." He already knew my name and post code but never properly introduced who he was. Said he found my details from some kind of "database." Was asking about what appliances I have in the house and what kind of car I drive. Felt really dodgy to me. I’ve reported it to the Police, who are aware loads of people have complained about this number. Seems like they’re trying to figure out where you live, your age, maybe if you have any health issues, and what you own, probably for shady reasons.

I was approached by a man who claimed he had no intention of selling me anything, although he had somehow obtained my address and full name without my consent. He requested that I participate in a brief survey consisting of simple yes-no questions, and even inquired whether I read a daily newspaper. When I tried to explain that he had mistaken me for someone else, he incessantly talked over me and grew increasingly irate. Eventually, I decided to end the call and advise others not to answer if they encounter a similar situation.
