I've been steering clear of this number for ages, but inadvertently hit the wrong key today. What I got was an automated clang claiming to be from BT, warning me that my line was about to be cut off due to some sort of breach. They offered me three different options to choose from, but I opted to hang up instead and check my BT account online first. Turns out, BT has confirmed it's all a scam designed to fish for personal details. Best not to engage with these calls, and if you do answer, for heaven’s sake, don’t press any of the buttons!
