Got a call from someone saying I needed to join their company and put money in for a “better funeral plan” for me or my family. They kept asking for my bank info and loads of personal stuff! Trust me, don’t pick up or reply to this number. There was another call from a very similar number, only the last four digits were different, reckon it’s the same scammer but can’t say for sure since I didn’t answer. Just steer well clear, report and block these idiots!

I received a call from this number, and it turned out to be a person posing as a representative from a life insurance firm. After doing a bit of digging into the supposed company and this phone number, it looks like I may have stumbled upon a scam.

This number called me pretending to be from a Life insurance firm, saying they could help me cut costs. When they started asking for personal info, I felt a bit uneasy. The call finished with a promise that a man would ring me back about the insurance, but I never heard from them again. I decided to report the number to the proper authorities because it seemed like a scam just to grab your details. Definitely won’t be falling for that one again!

The problem is they're based in Leeds, about 4 hours away from me. That means their guy would have to drive 8 hours just for a meeting! I mean, who does that for a funeral service? Got a call from a Scottish guy named Colin who asked for me by my first name. He said it was about some "nationwide worry over funeral expenses".
