A company claiming to sell solar panels called me asking why I hadn’t responded about some Government funding. I told the bloke I wasn’t interested. Then he tried quoting my address, but got it wrong - I didn’t correct him though. He went on about how much cash I could save if I put in solar panels. After a while, I just got annoyed and hung up on him.

Since April, this number has been constantly ringing me up. They claim to be from “Project Solar,” but no matter how many times I told them we aren’t interested, they keep calling. Each time they say it’s about some appointment supposedly made in April. It’s getting really annoying, almost feels like harassment. Just this evening around 6:24pm, a bloke called and I got quite upset, telling him once again to stop calling. He insisted my husband arranged the appointment and was really rude when I mentioned we were having our tea. My husband then spoke to the caller, asked for their name and address so we could make a complaint, warning them if they called again we’d report it. Surprisingly, the caller claimed my husband was threatening him! I’ve checked the address they gave, and there’s no such place in Leeds. I’m planning to contact Ofcom, the ICO, and also send a letter to that Project Solar’s registered address. This whole situation has left me really distressed.
