Had a rather unsolicited call where the person on the other end was well aware of my name, which raised my suspicions-clearly, someone has forked out for my details. They started prattling on about mobility issues, which made me question how on earth they could possibly have come to that conclusion about my situation! I firmly informed them that I don't entertain cold calls, and after a rather perfunctory thank you, they promptly cut the line. Quite the experience, I must say!

Received a call earlier claiming they were conducting a survey for the NHS. They inquired about my ability to move around. I had a hunch they were fishing for information to market beds or chairs. I’m rather uneasy about how they managed to obtain my number! I've since blocked them.

A chap called me up claiming he was conducting a governmental survey. He seemed to know my name and was keen to ask me some queries about my mobility. I simply said 'not a chance' and hung up on him.

A young lady inquired if she could have a word with Mrs (my wife’s surname). I simply said, “Not a chance.” She then responded, “Oh, have I dialled the wrong number?” to which I replied, “That’s for you to figure out. How about you quit calling altogether?” She expressed her thanks and hung up. So, my advice would be to keep your cards close to your chest and leave them utterly baffled instead!

Received a call from someone who seemed quite clued in about my health issues. They referred to it as a medical survey of sorts. They were touting a complimentary "luxury pillow," but it turned out to be a ruse for a salesperson to showcase their beds. Quite the cheeky tactic, if you ask me!
