I got a call from a woman who knew our name and an old address, and she was asking about some kind of appliance insurance. When I told her that address isn't ours anymore, she just said she'd leave us be. Before I could say anything else, she cut the call. Bit weird really.

About five minutes earlier this number rang me. A young bloke claimed he was calling from Appliance Support, saying they were lowering the price for my white goods cover to £229. When I asked which company he was with, he said Alliance Support again and insisted on lowering my cover.
