I received a phone call from an individual who clearly had our name and an old address on hand, inquiring about some sort of retainer coverage for our household appliances. As soon as I mentioned that the address mentioned wasn’t ours anymore, the woman on the line abruptly declared she would “leave us as we are.” Before I could respond or even ask any further questions, she disconnected the call. Quite odd, to say the least!

Just received a call from this number a mere five minutes back. A rather youthful chap informed me that he was affiliated with Appliance Support and that he was slashing my white goods coverage to a mere £229. When I probed him about who he was actually representing, he parroted back "Alliance Support" while insisting on the reduction. I was in the midst of explaining that I already had insurance for my appliances, but at that juncture, he seemed to hit a wall mentally and abruptly terminated the call. - caller: Appliance Support
