Got a call from this number claiming I had asbestos in my loft. I know there’s nothing there, so I told them straight away, knowing it was one of those dodgy calls. The bloke kept trying to convince me to get my loft inspected. I hit him back with the usual line that shuts them down - “It’s a council house, and it’s been inspected just a few months ago.” That seemed to do the trick because he ended the call right after that.

Got a call from this number today saying they were from 'Lifeline Alarms Ltd.', who supposedly provide emergency alarms for seniors. It was obvious they were up to no good because a) they never left their name on Call Guardian; b) no voicemail was left; and c) plenty of folks here have flagged them for pretending to be different dodgy companies. These scams are serious - something really needs to be done about these crooks by the authorities.

Got a call about loft insulation, the person sounded totally robotic like some kind of AI with weird English phrases. Didn’t trust it, so I just ended the call and blocked the number.
