got a call from some company saying i'd won a holiday competition and came in second place, but i needed to pay £41 'admin charge' for each person to claim it. i asked them to prove it by sending an email, but that never arrived. total scam, avoid it!

Got a call from someone saying I won a holiday prize, but then they wanted me to pay a £200 fee just to get it. Sounds dodgy to me - if I really won, why on earth would I have to pay anything? Total scam, don’t get caught out by it!

These calls have been happening to me daily lately. I try blocking the numbers but they just keep calling back from new ones. Plus, they can never say my name right.

The person on the phone claimed to be from Sky and told me I'd won a holiday. I asked them to send me the info by email instead. When I tried calling the number back to check, it wasn’t recognised and nobody picked up. Definitely seemed dodgy.
