Said they were from Leeds NHS Trust. I didn’t press 1 or 2 like they asked cos it sounded like a scam. They wanted me to do a survey. I called the patient helpline and they couldn’t confirm if the number was legit or not. Might be real, but there’s no clear way to tell. If it’s fake, I’m worried because they seem to know I was recently in a Leeds hospital. The person I spoke to who couldn’t say if it was genuine didn’t seem bothered either. Quite unsettling really.

If you report people like simon fogel in Leeds, you end up stuck in a loony bin just for speaking out.

I've recently been diagnosed with cancer, which has been incredibly challenging, to say the least. I received an automated cold call claiming I had an appointment scheduled, yet I was completely in the dark about it. The message presented me with a couple of simplistic options-either to go or to cancel-but didn’t provide any details about the alleged meeting location. It just kept directing me to a machine that promised someone would get back to me. This experience has left me quite upset. If this is how patients are treated, then proper information should absolutely be provided during such calls. I truly hope this practice is halted immediately.

I’ve received numerous missed calls all in one day - it seems rather pressing. So, I decided to give the number a ring back. It claims to be connected with the NHS, but quite frankly, they seem to do nothing but say they’ll call again if you don’t pick up. True to form, they did indeed ring me back, this time with an automated message asserting it’s the NHS. Sadly, the sound quality was atrocious, and most of the message was utterly incomprehensible. Just towards the end, I managed to catch something about pressing 9 to replay the message. I did that multiple times, but each time I got the exact same muddled response. It's utterly preposterous! Relying on such shoddy technology for matters of such significance is simply not on. I’m still left in the dark regarding what the call was about, as it became abundantly clear that if I answered it, they wouldn’t reach out to me again.
