I don’t usually take these calls but the person seemed really polite, so I ended up answering a couple of questions. They asked quite ordinary things like if I drove, what TV I watched, if I might want to adopt a dog, and then stuff about my home ownership, mortgage, and age group. After thinking about it, I kinda regret sharing info - probably should’ve just said no.

Firstly, she wanted to know if I kept up with the newspapers, then whether I watched television, and finally, if I was the owner of my property. To be honest, I sensed that her main focus was on the last question. I decided it was best to end the conversation there.

Really courteous bloke, spoke with a thick Indian accent which was a bit hard to catch. He fired off a few questions like if I read the news, watch telly, and then asked whether I owned the place or was renting. Was quite pushy when I said no to that last one. Eventually had to just hang up. Could be a scam, not entirely sure tho.
