The woman on the line claimed to be from Traviguide Ltd and seemed to be aware that our firm would be attending an exhibition in Germany. She implied she could secure us a better hotel rate than any other provider. When I informed her that we had already made our reservations, she then demanded the name of our hotel. I told her that it was irrelevant to her, and she promptly hung up in the middle of my sentence without any further comment. Overall, this was a rather intrusive cold call and quite a rude manner of conversation.
