Beware of this phone number - it’s a dodgy one, undoubtedly linked to scammers! I received a call from a bloke claiming to be from my internet service provider. He went on to threaten me about disconnecting our internet within a day because of some supposed illegal activity. He insisted that I hit ‘1’ to avoid this nonsense!

Got a call from someone saying they were my internet supplier. They said my internet had been misused and threatened to disconnect it unless I hit button 1. I just hung up immediately, seemed dodgy to me.

So I got a call, and they mentioned a report about an accident I supposedly had. When I asked where the report originated, they said it was from the road traffic and accident office. Something felt off about it, honestly. I'd steer clear of calling this number!

Got a call checking if I’d claimed some sort of compensation I was supposedly owed. They didn’t mention what it was about, but I reckon they just wanted to chat me up to see if I’d spill any info. Best to just block them straight away!

Didn’t pick up 0113 350 9424, looked like a cold caller number and just ignored it. Can usually tell by the digits it’s gonna be one of those annoying sales calls.

Some bloke was having a good laugh on the phone with a colleague from the call centre (I get that cold calling’s a rubbish job, but could you at least make an effort, mate?). No idea who handed over my info to them, but whoever did should definitely demand their money back - they got my name, gender, and even my ethnicity all wrong. Didn’t stick around to hear whatever nonsense they were trying to push. Best just block this number, unless maybe you’ve been hurt in an accident that wasn’t your fault and want to chase up dodgy PPI claims.
