Ems are such a rubbish warranty company, I’ll be getting in touch with the place I bought my car from on 6th August about this whole mess. I've blocked their number now and will be reporting them to West Yorkshire police to look into it and maybe even threaten legal action against them.

Seems like it might be the folks who had our car warranty, which ended after 6 months. They’re probably trying to get me to renew it, like the comment says dated 06/12/17. They keep ringing me non-stop, so I’ve blocked their number now. Over the Xmas break they phoned me half a dozen times. Proper irritating!

I kept getting these silent calls and decided to ring the number 0800 021 3030 since it was free from my landline. A lady from WMS Group picked up and confessed they’re using an automated dialler for those silent calls coming from 01133503370. I didn’t hold back and told her straight up that I was reporting them to Offcom and the FSA because what they’re doing is illegal. She offered to put me through to her manager, but I said no thanks, that it wouldn’t change a thing. There’s loads of complaints about their silent calls online going back ages anyway. I said I’d rather waste their time now and keep calling their freephone number to see how they like it. If you get silent calls from this lot, ring 0800 021 3030 and have a go at them like I did, or even try ringing them silently to give them a taste of their own medicine. Also, if you want to block your number, just dial 141 before the number (141 0800 021 3030).

I had one of those silent calls from these jokers too. Cheers for sharing the info, folks. It makes sense about the vehicle warranty stuff, I got a free warranty from WMS Group when I bought my car a little while back. They sent me a letter recently trying to get me to renew it, but there’s no way I’m going for that. They use the freephone 0800 021 3030 if you fancy giving them a bit of your mind! Is anyone going to report them to Ofcom, or are we just gonna sit back and let them keep doing this crap?
