They seemed to know some basic info about an accident I’d been in, which was a bit weird. When I said I wasn’t interested since they weren’t from my insurance, they turned quite rude and started being insulting. Not impressed with how they handled it at all.7 yearsI got a call where the person used my name and claimed to be from some insurance firm. They started asking me about a payout related to some crash I’d supposedly been involved in. Thing is, I wasn’t actually in the accident, just saw what happened. Felt uneasy because they seemed to know the exact date and had my info - made me suspicious if they were trying to pressure me to change my witness statement or something.7 yearsI got a call from someone saying they were with my insurance company and kept asking for my husband by name. When I asked what it was about, they just said insurance. I told them to call back in five minutes but they never did. Then when I tried to call the number back, it said it wasn’t a valid number.
