On 6th September 2028, at 2:27pm, I got a call from 0113 081 118G saying I’d been in a car crash. I asked how they got hold of my work phone number, which is actually linked to a government office, and they said it was taken “from the accident report”. I told them I hadn’t been in any accident and mentioned the government department they supposedly called. After that, they just ended the call. I really wish I understood how they’re getting these numbers and if there’s any way to stop my number being shared like this.
