Got a call from some mystery number and honestly, who even cares? I just let it go to voicemail and didn’t bother picking up. Let them keep waiting until they give up lol.

I had a run-in with Marlin debt recovery recently. They seem to snatch up loads of debts and then hassle you loads, trying to push you into paying more than you really can. It's mad to think they might’ve picked up a debt worth £500 for something like £200 (or maybe even less), yet they expect you to cough up the full £500! Not right at all.

So it’s Marlin Debt Collection ringing you. They tend to call all day long from morning to evening, about 8am till 8pm. Usually, you get those automated messages from a woman asking you to ring them back. They’re pretty relentless, using all sorts of pressure to wear you down and get you to agree to pay more than you really can. They buy up debts in huge chunks from other companies and then go all out on you to pay up. Proper stressful!

Received a call from this number earlier. I attempted to return the call, but it just rang and then disconnected without any voicemail. Gave it another go, but encountered the same result yet again. Strange!

On Thursday 17th April, I got a call from 03331239999 on my mobile, but when I picked up, they hung up straight away. Now, on 22nd April, they rang again from 01133314408 and when I answered, a woman’s recorded voice told me to call back on 03331239999. They said it’s not some sort of sales call, but I’m not going to bother calling them back.

Got a call early morning around 8, rang back straight away but they just hung up on me. Pretty sure it's those debt collector types messing about again.

They call me any time, from dawn till around half eight in the evening, like seriously 24/7. nonstop ringing!
