A guy showed up at our place claiming he was from Speedy Cash and that he was here to collect some money. He kept saying my dad owes some debt, but that’s not true at all. Honestly, the whole thing felt off and made me pretty uneasy.

Totally a scam, I’m sure of it. These lot ring up pretending to be about insurance for home appliances. When I asked the lady, who sounded Asian, to clarify where “Domestic Appliances” was based, she stumbled big time. Then she put me on hold - probably to chat with her scam buddy - and came back with some badly pronounced London place name. She was super aggressive, honestly bordering on bullying.
