They claimed to be from CYSEC, an outfit that supposedly tackles scam artists, but honestly, they turned out to be scammers as well. When I called them out, they responded with an email from a completely made-up domain. Such a dodgy move!

They called me a couple of times really close together and mentioned my name, talking about some registration on the financial market. Said I’d attempted to sign up on 28th March around 4pm. I told them that definitely wasn’t me! He just said alright and hung up. From his accent and how he spoke, I’d guess he was probably of African background.
