There was a weird silence, then I could hear loads of chatter like from a call centre behind the line. After that, an automated voice came on saying something along the lines of 'you have been removed from the conference call', then the phone just cut off. I'm guessing it's a scam too, especially since I wasn't expecting any sort of 'conference call'. To me, that sounds like they’re trying to move the call overseas or something dodgy like that.

At least we have a clue where this scammer calls home! No surprise he’s got such a big house, given he’s been ripping off so many people!

This was definitely a scam call. They got me to say my name and confirm I was okay, then the phone just went dead straight after. I’m a bit uneasy now, thinking they might have recorded my voice to do something dodgy with it.
