I’ve come across something rather dodgy called Clockwork loans, claiming to provide a £1,000 loan for a whole year at a monthly payment of £99.18. When you tally that up, you’d supposedly only return £1,190.16 in total! Sounds a bit too sweet to be genuine, don’t you think? I mean, what sort of lending institution would limit their interest to just £190.16 over 12 months? It’s laughable! Plus, they expect you to fork out £25 just for the privilege of setting it up. Definitely smells like a scam to me!
