The caller said they were from a finance firm, but I just told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from a finance firm needing to confirm a transaction by verifying my email address (they only had the .com version!). The lady sounded South African but weirdly the number showed up with a Leeds area code. She asked for my complete email but I wasn't having any of it. She kept pushing but I ended the call because it felt off and really dodgy to me.

Got a call from them asking to confirm personal info to check if it was really me. Sounded pretty dodgy to me. Don’t give out your info, they’re just gonna sell it on.

I saw the missed call but didn’t bother picking up 'cause the number wasn’t familiar. Reading some earlier comments, if this is Lantern, seems like they use loads of different numbers to try and trick people! Honestly, they’ve picked the wrong person with me.

Got a call from some dumb robot thing. Best not to pick up.

They just cut the call as soon as I picked up.

We kept getting calls from this number several times each week, but whenever we picked up, all we'd hear was silence.

Today I got a few calls from this number. Everytime I picked up, there was silence on the other end and then an automated voice came on just to say goodbye. Quite strange!

I’ve been getting loads of calls from this number lately but haven’t picked up any of them.

So this bloke called and somehow knew my name right off the bat! He had quite a thick accent too. I cut him off quick and told him to remove my number from whatever list he's got. But he just wouldn’t have it, said he planned on ringing me daily. I just ended the call straight away.
