I received a rather suspicious voicemail, seemingly from HMRC, delivered in that unmistakable robotic tone. The message claimed there’s a court case registered under my name and I had to hit 1 urgently to evade any legal troubles. Clearly, this is a scam and not a real number associated with HMRC!

Got a call about funeral arrangements, part of some set of serial numbers. It was one of those robocalls. Even though they're a pain, I kinda almost feel a bit sorry for the poor sods making the calls.

Got a spam call, looked up the number and tried calling it back, nobody answered. Then when they called me the second time, I answered but all I got was silence. Just a bother this one.

I got a voicemail that supposedly was from HMRC saying they’re taking legal action against me and threatening a lawsuit. Then it told me to press “4” if I wanted to talk to the officer handling the matter. Seemed super dodgy to me.
