Got a call saying they were from the national lottery, but it was the second time ringing me. The last time they called, I wasn’t in. They only asked for me using my first name, spoke to someone in my family instead. They said they’d ring again, and sure enough, they did today. This time, they tried to give me 10 free lottery tickets, but I said no thanks and ended the call.

Got a call from someone saying I’d been given 10 free lottery tickets and asked if I still lived at my old address. I said I’d moved and wasn’t interested in their tickets. The line was really bad, and I couldn’t make out her accent properly. She wasn’t pushy, sounded quite polite, but no clue who she was. Out of curiosity, I rang the number back and it sounded like they were speaking underwater or something, with words all warped. Definitely felt off, wouldn’t put any trust in it.

This number kept ringing me about five times every day starting just after 9 in the morning and going on until nearly 8 at night. Each time it’d ring for about 20 seconds but never left a voice message. Oddly today, whoever called left a voicemail by mistake and it sounded like a bunch of blokes having a laugh out on a Saturday night. Seems like some sort of call centre, but no idea what they're after.

On 23 July 2020 at about 10:51am, I got a cold call from the number 01133223196. The person said they were ringing from the National Lottery, offering 10 free lines on the Lottery and EuroMillions for £12 a week. They cut the call off before explaining anything properly. I later got a message from Camelot who said they don’t do cold calls like that and it’s definitely a scam. Seriously, don’t hand over any personal info.

Got a call in the middle of the night, like 3 or 4 am, which I normally ignore cause I never pick up unknown numbers. A couple days back, I actually picked up and said hello, some bloke just said hello back and it felt really creepy so I just ended the call. Then, they rang straight after but I just let it ring out.

Got a call from some joker claiming to be Joseph Thompson, said he was giving out free lottery tickets and wanted to be pals. I played along a bit, but when he asked for my birthday, I gave him a made-up date. Of course, next thing he wanted was my bank sort code - total red flag! The moment I realised, I hung up sharpish. He's been ringing me back all day now. Typical scam stuff.
