Got a missed call on my mobile earlier, so I called back using my landline which is ex-directory (number hidden). Spoke to a Miah Jones (classic Welsh surname "Jones"). Before anyone jumps to conclusions, I’m Welsh born and bred myself. I asked her nicely to email me her info and company details before sharing any personal info to sort out my Serps pension, but she wouldn’t send anything until I gave her my mobile number. THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM, BE WARNED!

I filled in an online enquiry form trying to check if I appeared in SERPS, not knowing they’d charge £99 if they discovered a pension. I got a call back and they asked for some personal info. When the woman on the phone requested my national insurance number, I declined and said I wasn’t comfortable giving that out over the phone.
